The Best Time for Cricket in Valencia

Valencia has a Mediterranean climate. AEMET's long-term normals are the best guide — but no month is guaranteed dry.

Spring (March–May)

Typically mild and pleasant, popular for pre-season tours. Note Fallas in mid-March.

Summer (June–August)

Hot and humid. Morning or evening games only; better suited to beach holidays than cricket.

Autumn (September–November)

Warm early on and a favourite for end-of-season tours — the 2017 Valencia Smash was held in October. Autumn can also bring heavy rain episodes.

Winter (December–February)

Generally mild compared with northern Europe. Days are shorter; plan earlier start times.
